Mrs. Melton became a principal of the firm in 1994. She joined the firm in 1987 after graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in Accounting. Mrs. Melton serves our firm as managing principal as well as principal in charge of bookkeeping and payroll services.
She is an alumni of Glenwood School in Smiths Station. Volunteer activities related to Glenwood included serving on the Glenwood School Board of Directors as chair of the finance committee and also as treasurer of The Glenwood School Foundation. Mrs. Melton is a past president of the Russell County chapter of the American Heart Association.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mrs. Melton is a member of Ladonia Baptist Church in Phenix City where she serves as church treasurer and as a trustee, chair of the finance committee
and as a member of the personnel committee. She also serves at a state level on the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions.
Her hobbies include cooking and Auburn football. She is married and has two adult sons.
